Young People
Youth Connections
Youth Connections is Commonwealth funded program designed to provide flexible, individualised support to young people who are at risk of disengaging from education and are therefore unlikely to attain Year 12 or its equivalent or make a successful transition to further education, training or employment.
The purpose of the program is to support these young people to assist them to make a successful transition through education and on to further education, training or employment. The purpose of the program is to also strengthen services within the region.
Youth Connect delivers this program in the Inner Eastern Region of Melbourne in the Local Government Areas of Boroondarra, Port Phillip and Stonnington and as a member of the NMIT consortium in Yarra. We will be working with schools, community organisations and government agencies to support these at risk young people and help them to achieve positive educational and social outcomes.
