Enrolment Process

• Enrolment Forms can be found in the back of the handbook or are available online by clicking the link to the right.
• A Student’s Enrolment Form must be signed by
• • The Student
  • Their Parent/Guardian
  • School Representative e.g. VET, VCAL, Career Coordinator

Please note: Incomplete Enrolment Forms will not be accepted

Enrolment Closing Date: 29 October 2010. Applications will be accepted after this date if there are vacancies in the program.

Interested Students will need to complete a Youth Connect Enrolment Form which requires both parents and school approval. Youth Connect will make contact with the student’s school to confirm details. As a number of programs have limited numbers please ensure completed enrolment forms are received by Youth Connect well in advance of the closing dates.

Before a student is accepted into the course they must attend an interview or information session with Youth Connect or the RTO in December or January to discuss the course and the student’s expectations and student suitability to the program. This allows the student and their parent/guardian to meet a Youth Connect staff member who will be looking after the course or their trainer. The course structure and expectations of students will be explained including an opportunity for any questions to be answered. This interview is effective in minimising the withdrawal of students from courses.
