Mock Interviews

Mock Interviews are a great way to develop students’ confidence, communication and employability skills in a stimulated interview environment. Students are required to prepare an application letter and resume before the interview and are encouraged to dress appropriately for the interview. Students will receive valuable feedback from their interviewer on their application, personal presentation and interview performance.

Youth Connect aims to recruit local employers and their employees, and retired business people to assist in mock interview for students.

Mock interviews can be incorporated into a schools careers program, VCAL program, or tailored to particular students or class groups.

Youth Connect requires a minimum of 4 weeks notice to Mock Interviews.
